IMAGINATION OF A WOULD-BE BRIDE
The wait of twenty five years will be over soon,
To compensate for the bane of struggle, it will be a boon.
Oh yes, in a shining armour he’ll kneel before me,
And through my prince’s eyes, happiness beyond limits I’ll see.
For holding his hands will stabilize my walk,
And days would seem seconds for when we would talk.
The wait would seem long but it will be worthwhile,
Been waiting for so many years, what’s another mile?
For the day would be beautiful, and the time right,
And I’ll be with my “life” forever, from that night.
So knock on my door prince, for I am waiting,
To be your bride, and the moment will be intoxicating…
