John Irving Clarke

Born and brought up in Carlisle, the son of a railwayman, John chose to become a teacher and taught in five schools in all, ending up as an Assistant Head.
He now concentrates upon his own writing and he has been published as poet, short story writer and novelist.
He lives with his wife in Wakefield U.K. where they plot visits to visit their son who lives in Brooklyn, New York.
