I am immensely pleased to come up with a collection of poems for you, dear reader. In this day and age when the world is caught up in a smoky grey landscape with the people in it neck deep in toil and drudgery, rescued only by the occasional respite presented to them in the form of intimacy of their inner circles. I try to depict the modern day urban crisis in a non-biased way, with no additional filter. Characters lifted straight out of my plot, the plan of the master, find ways of showing up unexpectedly whilst words itch to break free and find their place on the ever blank canvas, the mirror that I often look into for revelations and premonitions about what has transpired and what the future holds for me. Being close to always on the move, I'm a traveller seeking solace in new destinations that take me away from the iron grips of familiarity. Amongst strangers I find true objective friends who thankfully don't hold back from being themselves and at ease around me. These poems are a product of my frequent interactions with many such storytellers interlaced with the reality that is my unsettled, by design, life.
