Hi, I am Diwakar Pokhriyal (1986 - present). An MBA student ( current), a guitarist ( soft rhythmic), a sports freak and a poet. My journey of poetry took off from school.That was the last period of a rainy day. When drops were dancing and hugging the atmosphere, I was inside my class. And that's when I wrote my first poem titled "The school test". That poem turned out a bit hazy but that was a nice starting for a student of 9th class. After that, those articulating thoughts became my friends forever. The feel which surrounds me during writing is something very strange and so soothing. It's somewhat similar to the experience of playing my guitar. The feel of strings is same as the feel of poetry inside. As if you are experiencing drops of rain tickling your soul with close eyes and when you open your eyes,a sudden smile flashes and dies down. This is a kind of person I am. You will find few of these thought processes in my poetry. I am sure, my poems will take you to a place where you always want to be. During this journey you will realize that these thoughts and emotion are actually yours too.Then you will tend to enjoy life more and more. |
