Born and raised near Washington DC, I moved to Paris in 1992 where I still live and work. My poetic life started at the airport when I felt a real desire to write but was only able to do so by ushering me and my three young girls into a bathroom stall and scribbling out a poem on a receipt. Now, I make the time to write, whether prose or poetry, and find inspiration in everyday actions, in everyday images, and in particular in the writing itself. I have been published since 2018 in FLAR, The Broadkill Review, Erbacce Press, Addanomadd, Ink, Sweat and Tears, and for an anthology entitled It Will Happen by Chance with Mosaique Press. I also enjoy reading at Spoken Word Paris events.
