‘‘God & I’ solemnly enriches and structures the inside world –its emotions, thoughts and philosophic tenor. Breathings are sounds of joys and sorrows, and speak of the absolute eternal reality. It is evident when the lord breathes within and it is time when Jiva, the soul, merges with the Brahma sans any distinction and it indicates love for civilization, the living - it speaks of ‘Life and I’ if one does away with the trivial living of ‘I’ it makes a huge variation. In an alternate technique, the sensitive poet symbolizes the roles of Purusa and Prakriti –a vital route to a periodic transmigration to the cycle of life and death. Know love and hate do not have conflicts – at a vast inconsistency they are the same.
-P C K Prem
The author has wandered along penning his thoughts, feelings, and emotions pertaining to the river, roughly categorizing these under broad themes in one’s spiritual journey. The beauty of the prose though lies in its involuntary nature, transcending cognitive processes, almost seeming to appear on the page goaded by divine will. The river, in the author’s work, symbolizes both devotion (bhakti) and knowledge (jnana) which are two sides of the same coin. Actual spiritual practitioners, rather than the ones who only keep reading or discussing about spirituality endlessly, will be able to relate to subtle nuances that are generously strewn about in the work.

The Ganga exists both within and beyond the distinctions of intellect, mind, and ego, unshackled from the chains of mortality. It embodies the natural spirit, flowing serenely and joyfully. This divine glow illuminates the swadharmic path along Ganga Maa, dissolving delusive bonds and healing the psychic ailments that divide our consciousness. The aim of this script is to present the essence of life in a practical manner, unraveling the mysteries of the soul, religion, and the Absolute. -Rama Kant |
