Atanas Ivanov Koutrev was born in Sliven, Bulgaria, on June 26, 1989. He learned to read and write at the age of 4, then moved to France at the age of 6. At 13, after discovering his vocation thanks to his French teacher, he decided to become a writer. At 22, he founded his own publishing house and published his first two novels. He took part in 18 book signing sessions, including several at the prestigious “La Forêt des Livres” event, where his first six books were presented to 60,000 readers. Later, at the age of 30, he founded an independent Christian newspaper of which he is the editor-in-chief, leading a team of 6 journalists. The newspaper ranked number 1 in sales for a month and a half.
