Science-Fiction stories comprise tales which contemporary science would deem beyond possibility. The stories speculate “what if”.... What if a fleet of spaceships looking for a new world break loose of its home galaxy and attain unheard of speeds beyond the cosmic limits? What happens to a man’s mind when a lone astronaut finds himself stranded on a farthest imaginable alien planet? What adventure awaits a young boy who can access a train which travels to stellar constellations? But science-fiction travels beyond space. It can present a situation in which a grown man returns to his childhood home, long gone, and visits himself- as a child. It can look in on time travelers who miscalculate their journeys and find themselves on different and irreconcilable time coordinates...presenting themselves with insurmountable options.

REVIEW

Sit back, strap in, and prepare yourself for a journey not rooted in time and place, and where the impossible is set as your destination. Your captain: Mr. Alexander. Your ship: The Sci-Fi Collection. Enjoy a peek into your Captain’s imagination on a discovery of mind-bending “stuff” — space stuff, time stuff, and dimension stuff. Richly crafted descriptions of protagonists and their worlds delight. I especially liked Constellation StationShipwreck, Reunion, and Mirror Mirror. Relevant topics about passwords, security, and our vanishing world ground the reader. Don’t miss the Afterword! No need to be a rocket scientist, because the impossible is for everyone! And everyone curious enough will find surprises at every turn and will meet relatable heroes manning ships and serving as passengers of the cosmos. This is the “stuff” that movies are made of. Mr. Alexander, it’s Hollywood calling.
