Forbidden River depicts my experience with the way our society deals with romance and revolutionary changes; both carry an element of utopia and reality. It creates and destroys. Realities of control, domestication of desire, creativity and different forms of violence in everyday life dehumanises human feelings. Therefore, utopias are better than ugly realities of our time.
