I am first and foremost a child of God. My job is to get out to the world messages from God in several different ways. Let me explain, I'm a poet, gospel singer gospel song writer, author, CEO, Founder and DJ of "The Jack Hodge Gospel Show".

I work with Operation Military Parents as the Events Director here in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. I was a Chef before I retired, I was in the food business fore 40 years. At the present I'm writing a cook book. I have created several dishes that are being used still today all over the United States. My poetry book "Poems From The Spirit" (Volume one) took Seven years to get to the publisher. I'm hoping the cook book will be much faster.

At three am November 25, 2000 I was awaken by the Holy Spirit in a loud voice with the words "A Star Was Born" and was instructed to get up and write. I said "I have nothing to write". Spirit kept telling. I tried to go back to sleep but the Spirit keep telling me to get up and write. when I got up turned on the Computer and typed in "A Star Was Born" The poem began to flow. When the poem was finished I was instructed to write a book. The first month poems were on my mind constantly.

A question for you, have you ever looked up the different meanings of the word Star? take a look some time. My favorite "symbol of rank or authority, ect".

A word of advice, if you are given a poem, song or what have you, write it down then. Don't think you can write it later as it will never return. God has given me several different hats to wear. I will not complain, as my reward is great at the end.
