Diaspora Poetry in Haiku, Senryu and Tanka

Why would I like to mention my work as a Diaspora poet? There are many political, cultural, and philosophical reasons. For political reasons, I faced many problems. I was imprisoned in my country and was made to feel rejected. By these politics, I was exiled. I began to write poetry in my mother language, when I was in my homeland; and still, I continue writing. But, after having been exiled, my mother language did not always help to express the feelings I have been experiencing. I started to write in English at the same time of my exile in this cosmopolitan world I think that poetry is a kind of philosophical work which is created in a poet s mind.. These views and visions blend together bringing a new interpretation to a poet s words. That sharpens his practice of seeing the world differently. As an element of art, poetry is the mother of imagination which conceives and then births a poem or any sort of literature. In the ancient world, those who engage with literature of all kinds and creations were considered poets. Poetry in a primary sense is a simple and individual work, but in essence, it´s a difficult work to perfect. When it achieves its ultimate maturity, it probably becomes a philosophical work.
