She started writing in early 2007 after a few personal debacles, and since then has been writing poetry and short stories. Although she has no formal training in creative writing she managed to break the ice by attending workshops and events to sharpen her skills. Since then she hasn’t looked back and the ink has flowed off her pen in concourse. She believes that poetry is a wonderful gift and with encouraging support from other poets the gift of words can be perfected and the art can be carried to a level of grace that appeals to the layman as well as the authors. She is a formal poet and has written in more than 30 forms. Previous publications includes Forgive me in Blossoms of India, My Cup of Tea, A Miracle Woman, Vignettes and the Surrogate womb in Aquillrelle, Will there be someone?, An Act of Compassion and An Ode To God’s Own country in Muse India, You’re my Poetry and And Act of Compassion in Houston Literary review My Cup of Tea in Green Silk Review, My August Moon and the January Eclipse in Asia Writes, The Holy Knot in Aquillrelle anthology, An Ode to my City—Delhi in Bicycle review and When I brought her home in Poetry Bulwayo.
