Nikhil Sharma

Nikhil Sharma was born in Gujarat in the year 1984. His father worked with J&K bank. He did his initial schooling from Mumbai and then the family permanently settled in Jammu.

As a child, he used to take long walks in the nearby hills and woods. It resulted in a very good source for food for thought. He loved the calmness and stillness of the forest. He always thought of writing about his experiences.

Gradually, the work became more serious. Rather than presenting his experiences, he was questioning the world around him. So much so that it became an urge. The negative aspects of life became apparitions and he started to picture them. His work presents an answer that can make a person think twice. In his work, he has tried to inculcate emotions that always take a backseat in the general flow of life. We want to live in a world that accepts us. In return, we flow with the worldly tide. What he intends to do is to flow against the tide, and carve his own way. He is just presenting a state of mind, not worldly acceptable, but again, he wants to make you think twice.
