Hi! I am Mir Imran Hussain (Mir), a Banker by profession living in Dubai, U.A.E. Having stayed in Bangalore, Mumbai and later in Dubai I have had the privilege of learning important aspects of life at a faster rate. Although a Banker by profession, yet I always had creative approach in doing my tasks since childhood and soon realised that media is my interest. My areas of interest in media include writing, acting and direction (Film making). As a writer I have penned more than a quarter hundred articles for leading newspapers in India and UAE. Co- scripted short movies and TV serials, have also written stories and screenplays for music videos. The actor in me has helped me live many a lives on theatre stage and Television. On the direction front I began directing dramas in school and continued in college winning many awards in competitions. This gave a boost to my belief of taking up direction to a higher level. In the last few years I have directed award winning short films and music videos. As a writer I always believed that I can write a book but beginning to write a self help book at the age of twenty seven was a surprise to me. ‘Life @ 27’ is a sincere effort to help people realise their dreams.
